Ever seen a '96 Trans Am with the steering wheel on the right hand side of the car? Aaron Reynolds hails from Australia and he's definitely seen one. Aaron writes:

     "Hi Firebird gallery,
I thought it was about time I sent some pics of my current ride to you. She's a 1996 Trans am, imported in 1998 and after one owner here, purchased by me in 2002. I live in Brisbane, Australia and this car is my daily driver (I'm in the process of rebuilding my 1980 TA, she will be a bit faster afterwards).
She is the only 1996 Trans am with a six speed in my state (I know because Main Roads had to create a new entry for her.) and she causes a stir whenever I take her for a drive. Got a few mates with their cars already on your site and as soon as my sister gets some nice pics of her car (a 1974 Formula 400), she'll send them in too. Well enough waffle for now, hope you like the pics and when I have better ones of the '80, I'll send them in."

Cheers
Aaron Reynolds

Most guys on this site are lucky enough to have just one Firebird. Nilton ??? from Calgary, Alberta owns both of these Firebirds. Nilton writes:

"Hello, my name is Nilton. I am from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I love your website! I was really hoping if you could post pics of my Trans Ams. I am the proud owner of two. These are my twins. The first one is my dream car that I recently acquired. It’s an ’84 Recaro Trans Am (black with tan interior). I picked it up in pristine condition for $7,700 CAD (approx. $5000 U.S.). It has a 305 H.O. engine and every available option for that year including the Y84 Recaro Package and an automatic transmission. Only 1,321 cars of this type were built that year.
I had searched for a black and gold 82-84 T/A for over 4 years before I had found this one. I have always been a huge fan of the Firebird. Growing up in Vancouver and Calgary, my father had a 1980 Firebird, (black with a huge red bird on the hood) and that’s how I fell in love with these cars.
My father had the coolest car in the neighborhood! All the kids on the block wanted a ride to school in it. When I first saw the show Knight Rider, I took a real liking to the Third Generation T/A’s. It was a cool show only because of the car. If K.I.T.T. were a Mustang, I never would have watched it! I went through a small Camaro phase but it was short-lived. The Firebird is definitely the cooler of the two!
Anyways, today I am 26 years old and I finally managed to buy my dream car. I bought this car in August of 2003 from a gentleman in Edmonton, who at the time had another 2 Firebirds and a Camaro. These pictures were taken in the parking lot of St. Martha’s school in N.E. Calgary I had attended growing up in the 1980’s.
I also have an ’86 Trans Am (white with red/grey interior) with a rebuilt 350 put into it. This one has a five speed manual transmission and is super fast. I also have the engine chromed. These are my babies! I’ve been a fan of Trans Am’s all my life. I am especially partial to the third generation T/A’s. I hope to one day have a ’77 T/A but these will do for now! Thank-you for posting these pics."

I photographed this blue '92 Trans Am personally during a trip to the Island nation of Bahrain in 2002. It looked to be in excellent condition and still in stock trim. Its the only Firebird I saw during the trip and seemed very out of place. Its certainly a long way from the states or Europe.

Incredibly this is the first 1992 Formula to be added to the site since it started in 1997. This one is owned by Jordan Bell. Jordan writes:

"I would be honored if you would display my 1992 Firebird Formula WS6 on your fine site.  Supposedly it is one of 1052 Formulas made in 1992. And I've been told it is one of 39 made for Canada. It was built in March of 1992 and painted in code 37 dark bright teal metallic. It was ordered with the TPI 305 and automatic transmission with 2.73 gears which have accumulated 170,000 km or 105,000 miles over the years. It has code 19C black cloth interior with power windows, locks and mirrors. I will attach another picture in the next email and would love to see them on your site."

Cheers,
Jordan Bell

Pierre Wessels owns this beautiful 1992 Convertible Trans Am. Pierre writes:

"This is my 1992 convertible Trans Am. It has the 305tpi / 5-speed option. The car only has 115,000km on it and has lived in Canada all of it's life (So I was told). I have seen two different #'s regarding how many convertible T/A's were built with 5 speeds in 1992 - the first is 94 cars and the other was 146? Either way it is a nice rare car that I am happy with. If anyone can point me in the right direction for these stats I would appreciate it."

This immaculate 1984 Trans Am is owned by Josh Dixon. Josh writes:

"Hi, Im Josh and am writing from Sydney Australia, thought I'd show off my 1984 Trans Am! I bought this a few months ago for $16200 (aus) with 70,000 miles on the clock, pretty much a standard 305 V8 but with Cragar mags and Roadhugger tires. Car was imported into Australia from Texas in 1993 where it was painted dark blue and given a right wheel conversion as per Australian standards. Still has the original Texas registration label on the windscreen! Am in the process of putting in a Pioneer stereo for those cruises past the beach on our hot summers days! Thanks for the opportunity to share these cars!"
