It has a new paint job in the original color, light grey jade and after researche we find out that the bird we own is one of the last 1000 of the 3rd Generation Firebirds and it has a 3.4 liter 170 hp V6 engine. Terry Heacock owns this spectacular NCE convertible Trans Am. Terry lives in the UK only 20 miles from another NCE member of the site, Graeme Annetts. Terry writes:

     "Hi there,

I have been visiting your site for the past ten months since I bought my TA and have been meaning to send a few pics in. Unfortunately I never got around to take some nice ones before putting the car away before winter so I have attached a few snap shots.
The car is 79 NCE convertible in Heritage Brown. it has an Olds 403 and what is rare for a TA in this country is that it is totally stock with all of the plumbing. It is NCE number 145. The car is generally in good shape and I intend to keep driving it through this year before we start any real restoration. I have had a few Trans Ams in the past but was delighted to get hold of one of these rare birds. I think you will agree that it looks nice in this colour scheme. All I have done is had a new roof made, which I had made to compliment the body colour.
I have been in touch with Graham who has the 10th Anniversary convertible, he live about 20miles from me...spooky.
Last summer I met a guy in a gas station some 50 miles from home who was driving a blue 79 NCE convertible. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera but it was great to see two of them together. I hope to be able to get all three of the UK convertibles together for a photo shoot this summer. If I do I will send you a pic. Great site..."

     "Hello,

I have just discovered your web-site and its a very good site. I'm the happy owner of a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 1979. The car is complete original; it even has the original keys. (The color is NOT original) I bought the car for 4 years ago and now its time for a new restoration of engine, engine-room, cabin and to find original color. It will be my winter project."

  Yours sincerely,

Kelly Holmes owns this amazing red Firebird. Kelly writes:

"My name is Kelly Holmes from Wpg. Mb Canada, this is my 1967 Pontiac Firebird. I have owned this car for almost ten years. The car was painted about fifteen years ago, and still looks great today. In the time that I have owned the car, I have done the complete interior, (deluxe door panels on the way!) all of the mechanical work, and a lot of small detail work. The car is not all original, it was originally gold with gold interior, also, the block is not original. However, the rest of the numbers match. The following list of options include:

400 Ram Air
M-21 Muncie 4spd.
Both fact. track bars
Hood tach
Right rear antenna
Deluxe interior

This car is definitely something I plan to hang on to. In the next few years I plan to start building a nostalgic drag car, probably a GTO. Any questions you can email me at Kelly Holmes."

Kelly also hosts his own website entitled: Kelly's Firebird Site.

This 1981 Trans Am is owned by Murdock Maclean. Murdock writes:

"My T/A was made in Norwood, Ohio for the Canadian market. There is 15,000 original miles on it. It has a 305 CI HO engine, automatic, its fully equipped except AC. It has Maroon exterior and Tan interior. I ordered the car without any Eagle emblem on the engine hood. The car has never never been driven in the winter nor smoked in, the last time it was out in the rain was 1981. It has over "100" coats of hand rubbed wax. The four barrel carb was used "4" times, twice in 1981 and twice in 1990. I have the original factory build sheet and a copy of the window sticker. It has the original tires and spark plugs. It has the original plastic covering the carpets entering the rear seat. The last time it was driven after dark was 1981, it still has the new car smell, it is stored and covered in a heated garage. I have a log book documenting all maintenance and gas mileage ,also a binder with all the factory info that came with the car. There is extensive chrome and SS Braided Hose in the engine compartment. I also have the original Pontiac brochure from which the car was ordered. Presently there is a set of Chrome wheels on it, I have the original stamped steel wheels in my garage. The car is taken yearly to the local Pontiac Dealer and checked over. It has been appraised as close to a 100 point car as you can get without completely restoring it. It still has the original "OK" white chalk factory initial on the radiator shroud. I also have the original factory knock out key tab numbers."

Fabio Aro owns this silver 1974 Trans Am and is our first member from Brazil. Fabio writes:

"This is my 1974 Firebird Trans Am 400, and I'm from São Paulo, Brazil. It has a 400 turbo hydramatic 3 speed transmission. This car originally was Buccaneer Red, according to its VIN, but it has been painted in silver by its previous owner. I'm going to repaint it, and make him Buccaneer Red again. It has its original black interior, and its original "honeycomb" wheels (which were painted too, but were already painted back to its original silver color). This car was in another state of brazil, Bahia (pretty far from São Paulo, something like New York to Texas...). Well, I called a mechanic to go with me to see how the car was. Both of us went to Bahia, and then I bought the car and brought it to São Paulo, where I'm going to do some restoration to it (principally the body part that needs to be painted back to Buccaneer Red). This TA has most of its accessories, engine and etc still original. This is why it was worth it to travel to buy it. But for now, the car is still silver, so this is how it is on this photos."
