Blue Firebird (74,768 bytes) Both this 1985 Firebird and the 1991 Formula below belong to Chris Doyle. Chris writes:

"Hi there, I am a big fan of your site, its about time someone has recognized the firebird for the truly awesome car it is!! Here are my cars, the blue car is a 1985 firebird that originally came with a 2.8L five speed, but after 256,000 kms the engine started to get bad, so we swapped it out for a carbureted 305ci and Turbo 350 automatic. It has since been painted a couple of times, and is now kind of a purple color, but will someday be blue again.
The car came with power windows, power trunk, tilt , cruise, T-bar roof, and grey cloth interior. I have owned the car for 11 years, and I am only the second owner. It was my first firebird, and I have no plans to sell it, someday it will be passed on to my son."

Sacha Caflisch owns this 1975 Trans Am that went through a hot rod style make-over to install a 73 beak. Sacha writes:

"Hi, this is my 75 Trans Am 6,6 litre. I did buy it as original '75 model and changed the Front last spring, because I like the 73 front, it makes the car looking aggressive. The engine was changed in 1987 and has some more horsepower. I drive my Trans Am just during summertime and I like going to US-Car meetings in Switzerland. Here it is special driving such a car because there are not many running anymore on the roads. Greetings from Switzerland."

Paul Drew recently imported this Firehawk to England. Paul writes:

"Hello from Southampton, England. I've just imported my Firehawk which is number 340 out of 540, and 1 of only 139 Anniversaries which unfortunately are not individually numbered. It is based on the WS6 Trans Am so it has the same LS1 although through the expertise of SLP have increased its output to 335hp, driven through a six speed manual box with Hurst shifter.
I've had many Trans Ams but this is the first one where every time I look at it I like it more, especially with the Black and Gold scheme reminiscent of the JPS Lotus which was my favorite F1 car. This as far as I know is the only Anniversary Firehawk in Britain so I'm looking forward to attending as many shows as possible."

Dan Fraser owns this 1980 Special Edition Turbo Trans Am. Dan writes:

"My name is Dan Fraser, I live in British Columbia Canada. I was checking out your web page and thought I would send some pictures of my car for your special edition section. I have owned the car for four years now. My friend had bought the car when it was brand new and when I finally talked him into selling it to me, it had been in storage for nine years. There is currently around 50,900 km on the car. The car had a Perma shine applied when it was brand new and had been buffed once a year for the first few years of it’s life unfortunately thinning the paint on the rounded sections of the body. The car was repainted because of this. Other than that the car is unmolested. The car is pretty much fully optioned including air, cruise, turbo gauge lights etc."

Justin Scheirich owns this 1981 Trans Am. Justin writes:

"Hello, My name is Justin Scheirich I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This is my first car, a 1981 Pontiac Trans Am. First off, the front end is switched off with a 77-78 model. Also due to the limited engine size in '81 and a lot of mileage it has a rebuilt 400. As seen in the pictures it is far from being an original, but I like it just the same. Sorry about the
low picture quality, my digital camera isn't the best. Hope this is posted, you're site is easily the best out there, thanks for reading!"
