               1993

This is an AMT kit. Its 1/25 scale and modeled after the '93 Firebird. The kit is dated 1993. Although the car depicted on the box is blue the body and interior pieces are molded in white and the rest of the kit is molded in gray. Guess you can't always trust what you see on the box. Chrome pieces are few with a couple for the engine and the rims. The decal set is also on the light side. Two different plates are provided, the taillights (a decal), two "Pontiac" badges, and a few other misc. decals. The kit looks to be very detailed. Four Goodyear tires are also included.

This is a large 1/20 scale kit of the Firebird Formula made by Lindberg. The kit is molded in high gloss black and is over 9" long. This kit is a lot like the Lindberg firebird kit below. Packaging is excellent. The plastic front and rear windshields come in a plastic bag for protection. The chrome is light consisting of the rims and 1 or 2 engine parts. The kit is highly detailed due in part to its larger scale. The tires included in the kit are also large and well detailed Eagle ZR45s. The decal set is extensive and focuses on small items that improve the detail of the overall kit. Interior and engine compartment decals are the majority of them. The kit is dated 1993.

This is a large 1:20 scale kit of the fourth generation Firebird made by Lindberg. It can be built as either a Formula or a Custom Firebird as depicted on the box. The body and all parts are molded in high gloss red. Its a highly detailed kit due in part to its size. The engine and suspension are of especially high detail. The chrome included is light with only the set of Firebird rims and a few engine pieces. The decals included however are fantastic. There are two different sheets and decals are included to make the Formula. Firebird decals include some highly detailed decals for the engine compartment and the dash (i.e. top of the battery, emissions sticker, a dash sticker showing all the analog gauges). The only drawback to these is they are very small and will have to be handled carefully. A California plate decal is also included for the Firebird version. Formula decals are extensive and include decal sets for a custom looking Formula and a standard looking Formula. Custom set includes two large Grey and black "Formula V8" decals that run the length of the body, two black and grey decals that fill the two pseudo reverse hood scoops on the hood, a large black Formula V8 sticker for the front windshield and a "Pontiac" decal for the rear windshield, two different custom license plate decals, the small bird on the nose, and small Formula V8 decals for the right headlight cover and the left side lower rear bumper. The standard Formula decal set comes in either gray or white depending on what you want to use. Decals included are two Formula V8 decals for the lower part of each door, a Formula V8 decal for each door panel on the interior, the same Formula V8 decals for the headlight cover and rear bumper, the small bird on the front nose, a Formula V8 decal for the glovebox, and Pontiac decals for the floormats and headrests. Packaging is also excellent. Two separate sealed bags contain the parts and a small separate bag protects the clear plastic (glass) pieces. The kit is dated 1993.

This is a large 1:20 scale model of a Pontiac FireHawk made by Lindberg. No further description is available at this time...

This kit is a 1/25 scale kit of the '93 Trans Am. It comes molded in a dark metallic blue. Chrome pieces include the stock rims, valve covers, plenum, intake, muffler and exhaust pipes, and some small engine pieces. Decals are light, including a stock and custom (reading EXITMNT) license plate, and a few small decals for the engine compartment. Clear red parts are included for the taillights along with rubber Goodyear tires. The kit is dated 1993.

This kit may be the same as the kit above with a different boxtop. Its 1/25 scale. No further information is available at this time...

This is a Revell Snap-tite kit of the 1993 Trans Am. No further information is available at this time...

               1994

This is a 1/25 scale AMT/ERTL kit of the 1994 Formula. Kit features include a 275hp 5.7L V-8, 6-speed manual tranny, 16x8 cast aluminum rims, speed-rated Goodyear Eagle GSC tires, lower aero rocker package and a rear deck spoiler. Copyright date on the kit is 1993.

This is a Revell kit of the 1994 25th Anniversary Trans Am. The body and all parts are molded in white. Chrome pieces include the special five spoke rims (which should actually be painted white) the muffler and tailpipes, and various engine pieces. Decals include the large blue center stripe for the rear spoiler, roof, hood and nose, the small bird on the nose, a really cool MSRP sticker for the window, the two large 25th Anniversary decals for the doors, and four smaller 25th Anniversary decals for the door panels and front bucket seats, and some detailed decals for the engine compartment. The kit is dated 1994.

               1995

               1996

This is a 1/25 scale kit of a '96 Formula, manufactured by AMT/ERTL. The Firebird on the boxtop appears to be a blue-green color but the words "Retouched photo of actual vehicle" appear in the lower right corner. The side of the box gives a breakdown on the specifications for a 1996 Firebird. The pictures on the other side of the box are of an actual Firebird. No further information is available at this time...

               1997

This is a snap-together kit of an 1997 Trans Am. This one is built by AMT/ERTL. I believe they call it a SnapFast Plus because their is some glueing involved but it is probably minor, to teach a beginner. No further information is available at this time...

Another in the SnapFast Plus family from AMT/ERTL. This is essentially the same kit as above only a convertible instead of a hardtop. This is the only fourth gen convertible kit I've seen yet.

This is a 1/25 scale AMT/ERTL kit of the 1997 Trans Am. The boxtop is styled similar to the '96 Formula kit from AMT/ERTL above. A "retouched photo" of an actual Trans Am is used. On one side the specifications for the 1997 Trans Am and on the other side all photos are of an actual vehicle. The kit is molded in grey which allows the builder to easily paint the kit any color. Packaging is good with two separate bags containing all the parts. Clear parts include front and rear windshields, T-Tops (permanent part of the front windshield), and taillights. Chrome pieces are light and include a set of stock rims and a few engine pieces. Rubber Goodyear Eagle GS-Cs are provided for tires. The kit is dated 1996.
